The Maddalenas are a small group of islands off the north east tip of Sardinia. They are a national park and you need a permit to visit. They are a great cruising area with many lovely anchorages. They do however get insanely busy in high season so we have come here now to beat the rush. We had this anchorage to ourselves which is a rare thing around here. We are moving around, only a few miles each day. In this bay there is an old abandoned quarry. In the quarry there is this poor bloke who never got finished. As a result he is completely beside himself. However Amanda is doing her best to cheer him up.
