We are now in Monemvasia at the bottom tip of Greece. It is an amazing place, see below. We left Milos at first light for the 65 mile sail accross. Nice passage with some good sailing breezes and some motoring. This is Monemvasia. It it an ancient fortified island connected to the mainland by a narrow causeway. In the old days there used to be a drawbridge. This is what it looks like in the flesh. Following are some photos of the village. We took about a hundred but here is a small sample. It is windy this week so we are chilling out in the sheltered secure harbour for a few days.
