But big enough to fit us in their harbour. We sailed overnight from Sardinia, 170 miles. And when I say sailed I actually mean motored as there was no wind all the way.
When we arrived the harbour was full but after an hour or so everyone left and we had the dock to ourselves.

It's time to move on to the next Island. Another overnight passage.
We are really enjoying our time in Sardinia. The locals are very friendly and don't seem to mind that we keep forgetting where we are speaking to them in very bad Spanish. Here are a few highlights: We left Menorca at about 6am and headed off to Sardinia. Sailed all day then motored all night when the wind died. 32 hours all together. We called into a local marina to get fuel. They didn't have fuel but they did offer us a good deal to stay so we had a peaceful nights sleep.
We enjoyed our last few days in Menorca. Nice anchorages and things to explore.
The weather has been a bit stormy with thunder and lightening and heavy rain. We decided to stay another night. For the first night we paid 57 euros which was a stretch on our budget. When we went to book in for another night the price had gone up to 106 euros. We were just saying goodbye and never mind when we found out there is another much cheaper marina on the other side of the harbour. So we have been there for the last 2 nights. Ciutadella is a very attractive town. Next week there is a big festival which features amazing horses. We got a previw of them today. We made the trip across to Menorca today and actually did some sailing which around here is a bit unusual. The anchorage we were heading for turned out to be almost big enough for our dinghy and a bit rough as well. So we ended up in the local, rather expensive, marina. We left Port Soller this morning and headed about 20 miles up the coast to San Vincent. It rained, alot, as we arrived but it's clear again now. This will be our last stop on Mallorca. Tomorrow we head for Menorca where we will explore about for a couple of weeks.
