After six seasons of our amazing adventure we have decided to put Aztec Gold up for sale.
AG has been an awesome boat (that we bought on-line, sight unseen). She loves racing any boat that happens to be heading in the same general direction as her, and generally wins while at the same time being a safe, comfortable live aboard. We leave with so many great memories of our time in the Med. Both the places we visited and the people we have met along the way. Thanks to everyone who has followed this blog and especially everyone who took the time to send us a comment. We will let you know when we have decided upon our next adventure.....

Birthday week is a great tradition that I highly recommend to all three readers of this blog. Getting only one special day a year is simply inadequate, a week is about right. Here we are engaging in one of the preeminent birthday week activities. A less common but equally enjoyable activity, sailing wing on wing. Especially as we sailed past another yacht trying to race us (or at least one heading in the same general direction).
Not long now until we come out of the water for another season. We are in a place called Nidri where people store their boats long term. Some like this one for too long. There are a dozen or so dead boats in the bay. It is also not a great place to swim with lots of very large jellyfish infesting the bay. Instead we went for a walk into the hills to a waterfall where you can swim in cool fresh water. It hasn't rained for 3 months however so the waterfall was a bit of a trickle.
Our visitors Sally and Dave have left us so it is just us on the boat now. August has finished and already places seem a little quieter. AG comes out of the water on the 10th so we only have a short time left. This week is Amanda's birthday week so she is the boss of everything. Amanda gets to decide where we go each day and what we do.
